Yes, my wife had applied for both PR and TRV. She filed TRV application online onn April 14th, 2016 and processing time was 19 days at that time. Today is 16th May, more than a month and application is still open.

In the meantime, my wife got here PPR and sent passport. We are awaiting passport as of today. So, it means if your TRV is not making any progress then it may be possible you are going to get some good new soon.

Congrats on PPR. Btw, you can ask them to cancel the application for TRV and ask for refund of fees. Just let them know that you have got PPR request and don't need TRV anymore. My friend did the same for his work permit and they refunded his application fees. Hope they will for your case too.

I don't really understand how are they processing applications, I have read some forums from 2015 applicants who are still waiting for DM since a year but most of the Jan, Feb and March applicants are getting DM.

I filed both PR and tourist visa at same time in last week of February. But in my case i submitted tourist visa through paper application and they asked for medicals. Now its nearing 3 months and no progress on tourist visa but on the front of PR, CIC has updated all 3 points (Application received date, processing start date and medicals received) So passport is stuck and not sure if i should expect PR by this month as by timeline i filed PR on Feb 24 and processing started in delhi on APRIL 08.
Any comments??
