You have to post at least 10 post first and edit your profile

Thank you. I will look into it.

Hi. As far as i know, if you are currently living in India, then you get PCC from local police station. However if you are abroad, you get from the passport office.
Seniors can elaborate on this..

It seems logical too.
Nice one.

Keep helping others.
God will help us.

Hello Guys,

I applied for both permanent residency and tourist visa application at the same time in last week of February 2016. All 3 bullet points have been updated for my PR status (Date of application received, processing start date and medicals received)
But have not heard back from visa section after they asked for medical request.
Any comments??
Thanks

did you try emailing them about your tourist visa application. You can ask them since they specify 20 days on their website. Its been 2.5 months since last week of feb.

One question to all Feb 2016 applicants. Did any one receive call from NDVO just to confirm medical details (eg. where you went and on which date). If yes, please share the gap in number of days if they received passport request after it.

Why is CIC indicating 19 months, when files are being processed faster? Just wondering. It is good news for us all though :)

Thanks for informing me.

Hi bud,

Congrats to you guys! My wife also submitted her passport at Jalandhar VFS. Now, I am wondering if you picked up the passport from BlueDart or did they deliver it? I am a little confused on that part. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

Hey James! Fellow March 10 applicant here.

I got AOR1 on April 5th, but my application somehow got stuck since then. Still mad at the person who picked up my file in Mississauga. My In Process was 9th May and AOR2 on 10th May. Hopefully, I receive DM by end of May.

Fingers crossed.

All the best !!! I can understand how frustrating it is when something or someone delays the process. But let us all be glad that they are processing the applications much faster than all of us expected :D

The processing time displayed on the CIC website is not the average processing time. It is the time under which 80% of the applications are processed from that VO. Although the new applications are processed much faster, there are many still under process from last year and even from 2014. That is why it is still 19 months. Same is the case for many countries e.g. USA has processing time of 15 months although many applicants are processed within 6 months.

Has anyone paid rprf after receiving SA? :(
