Dear friends,
I have a general ques: when u send spousal sponsorship application to missisauga is there any name under person who accepted the mail.

Reason i am asking is coz i sent the application which was delivered on 10th may but no name of person who accepted it.

Is this normal or something wrong.

Your response is highly appreciated.

Thanks

if you are asking that no one signed the delivery of your courier then it's a normal thing. You will receive AOR1 in few days.

I guess nothing wrong. Mine was also delivered on 11th May, but no name of person accepting it. I guess I didn't select the service of Signature required - where they sign and put their name. Maybe that's the reason. But no need to worry overall.

Already submitted my file in March so can't do much about it, but a question nonetheless:

I found out that in India, there are 2 ways to get PCC. One is from Passport Office and other is from local police station. I went for passport office while my friend got it from local police station. Does selecting one or the other affect the application? Does it affect time taken to verify this?

Asking this out of curiosity.

I don't think it would make any different as long as it says she is cleared.

and the stamp is there from police station or similar.

Thank u vaibhav for ur reply.

Btw when i was last following this forum in feb-march DM used to take good 12months from app filing date.

Now I can see people are getting it in 3 months. Has the processing being expedited !! or am I missing something here..

Good luck to all waiting.

From what I have been following, the processing has become faster for many applications post Nov & Dec 2015. But there are many applicants from June 2015 still waiting for a decision on their applications.
There are many theories - How strightforward is ur application - that can be based on how complex is ur situation, how much proofs have you provided, is it ur first or second marriage, is ur wife in canada etc..
All of these things are debatable and nobody is sure how they are processing it. Because even as March applicants are getting PPR and DM, still some of Jan and Feb 2016 applicants are waiting on their applications.

So as May applicants, all we can do is wait and watch - and pray everyone's applications gets processed at the earliest

Hey James! Fellow March 10 applicant here.

I got AOR1 on April 5th, but my application somehow got stuck since then. Still mad at the person who picked up my file in Mississauga. My In Process was 9th May and AOR2 on 10th May. Hopefully, I receive DM by end of May.

Fingers crossed.
