Note down my timeline:
Sponsorship:
We received your application to sponsor XXXXXXXXXX on February 25, 2016.
We started processing your application on March 24, 2016.

PR:
We received XXXXXXXXXX application for permanent residence on February 25, 2016.
We started processing XXXXXXXXXX application on April 8, 2016.
Medical results have been received.


Both side it says "In Progress"

NDVO sent AOR 2 email on 14th April.

My Spouse is in Canada on Tourist visa which is expiring on 11th Jun 2016. Already sent paper based visitor extension to CIC.

I was wondering did you wife got her passport back? As you have mentioned earlier, her passport was with NDVO for TRV stamping and they said they will stamp it for PR, did they ask for the photos which are requested in the PPR? I am not sure if COPR has a photo on it.

My wife received PPR two days before but ecas still shows IN-PROCESS. Is this normal to have PPR before the status is changed to DM?

Yes, that can happen sometimes. Although not very common, but I've seen this happening before. Nothing to worry about.

CIC-M received my application on April 4, 2016 and they started processing it on April 26, 2016. Received AOR-1 on April 27, 2016
