Also, if you could please share a little detail about your case or circumstances then that would be great!

Hello Friends,

I have a query which I want to get clarification.
I was married in the month of Jan 2016.
After the marriage, I wanted to reunite with my wife quickly, so while we were preparing her PR sponsorship application, we applied for her TRV.

This TRV was refused after 3 weeks. We have since then applied her PR application on 8th April, and as of now I have got AOR1.

My question is "does the first refusal affect the current application"?

No as far as i have read and know, they are two totally different applications. Good luck

What's the best way to submit additional documents to NDVO without formal request?

We mainly want to submit a new PCC (as the original one had passed validity by the time the application arrived in NDVO).

We also want to submit some additional relationship proofs:
- a few pages of call records since the application was submitted
- email correspondence with my supervisor detailing approval of my extended leave from work to visit husband
- paid returned flights to visit husband for 6 weeks starting July

Would this go into a case specific inquiry for NDVO? Or should I reply to the AOR2 email with these documents attached?

We will mail the original new PCC to the physical address but also thought to include a scanned copy in the email/case specific inquiry.

Hi Jas,

The sponsorship period is now again changed to 41 days. So we need to wait.
I got AOR 1 on 30th April. I applied on 8th April. When did you apply?

Is there any reason you want to send the additional documents? I've never seen NDVO asking for PCC because the old one has expired (except when they call for interview).
For the other documents, do you see any red flags in your application or were you not able to provide enough documents with the application?

Not sure how much of it is true, but it is said that sending additional documents without request may delay the application. If you don't see a red flag in your application, I don't think there is any need to send the additional docs.

If you really want to send, you can send through case specific inquiry or email or courier or you can choose more than one of these methods. I'd say send through email and courier. Make sure you put a cover letter describing what extra documents you are sending.

Yes, Dont send anything unless asked...usually that delays the application
