2) We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 19, 2016.
3) We started processing your application on August 18, 2016.
4) We sent you correspondence on September 6, 2016 about the decision on your application.
Sponsorship was approved

PR Status
1) We received application for permanent residence on July 28, 2016.
2) We started processing application on September 19, 2016.
3) Medical results have been received.

Thats all it appears on my side can someone please guide me..
also i stayed with my husband for 5 and half months and i had to come back in January because i got pregnant and after certain time i wouldn't be able to travel. My due date is June 14th. can anyone guide me or tell me what are the chances that he can come before the baby is born. Because online its not showing anything its stuck on these 3 lines and its very frustrating that people who applied in august are getting DM. Can someone please help or guide me.

Congratulations on the pregnancy! Do you know when is your husband's Medical Expiring ? He should be travelling before that if not earlier.
By the looks of the current flow of PPR at NDVO. They are working on previous files, May-June 2016 recent files and according to the medical expiry.

So as your AOR2 is 19 September 2016 - He should hear something a late March to Mid April 2017.
This is a vague predication according to the current trend. I really hope this is faster for you. Stay positive. Keep the faith.

Hi Purnima,

Where are you seeing this In Process is it in the the ECAS and the GCKey.
Background check is only visible when you have linked your application to an account on GCKey, have you linked your account ?

All our ECAS status mostly show Sponsorship Approval : Decision Made and Principal Applicant : In Process.
Please share your timeline this will help all the other applicants like you.

I really hope so. Do you know anything in regards to the interview process. I mean If there was an interview requirement would he hear something now or in near future? dosnt that take some time for them to decide after the interview if they are planning to process everything b4 medical expiry? Just curious.

I believe the interview email comes about a month before the expiry of the medical. Interview - No Interview, they have to have an answer to the application before the expiry. They will speed up the process if everything makes sense to them and only the interview is pending.

In worst case scenario which is if they are not convinced with the file or anything they will ask for re-medical and buy some more time to work on the application.

BG means background check on your file is active.......its a good sign

There are so many different categories on which the PPR is based on.

Medical Expiry
Application Date
Province from where you have applied
Sponsors history
And many that I don't know.

So please be patient and keep the faith

Some more to stir the pot,
- Age difference
- Travel History
- PCC correspondence from the local office in each city
- Certificate verification from different offices
- Marriage history (1st, 2nd, 3rd.....)
- If adoption children are involved.....

Bottom line is please dont let your mind wander as the confusion mutates faster when we are in the NOT KNOWING ZONE. I am sure each and every one of us will be with our loved ones sooner and at the right time.
