When did you apply? and when did you get medical done?

Yo can always go and join her without any concern. But it is always recommended not to go because that way you can get cross checked.

Our application was recived on Jun 03 2016 and medicals were done some time in early april. Now wife is currently six months pregnant, I did went back in july last year. I have asked her to take her doctor reports, all the marriage photographs, videos, with her and also my ticket and copies of my passprot with stamps when i left canada and arived in india . Hopefuly it will help with the inteviwe.
As we ususlay talk on IMO and whatsap what will be the way to take the contact proof with us

Hi Guys, I wanted to provide the update. So as per the plan we sent the copy of PCC along with passport stamp (for PCC) to email to Delhi Immigration. We also asked them if they want us to apply for PCC again but we didn't get any reply. Then 1 day later, we got Background check in Progress in MyCIC on 24th Jan and now I checked ECAS today and it shows Decision Made.

Now I am wondering if we should apply for PCC or wait for their email. Hopefully it is PPR.

When does you medical expire?

For some reason NDVO is avoiding files that reached them around the mid-week of august 2016.

Don't worry, I am sure your file will come up soon! Seems like they work in batches and the latter half of June applicant files seem to be moving quicker. It's hard to say, but maybe it depends on the officer assigned to files but who knows for sure!! Hang in there..!!

I am in such a situation that the MP added insult to my injury. In my request to inquire with the visa office, New Delhi regarding the latest status of my case and urging them to expedite it, if possible, her Secretary made me disappointed by sending an email claiming that 'it takes 14 months' to complete a case and my case is within the normal processing period that is why she can do nothing. In telephonic conversation, she told me that it takes 16 months, and I tried to assure her that the official website mentions 12 months only. She insisted on and said, 'No, no..it's 16 months...' Now, in writing she has mentioned it takes 14 months. Is it what the secretary is supposed to do?? Or, does it take 14 months to complete a case? My point, here, is even if she can do nothing to me, she at least should be updated with the basic information related to immigration. On Wednesday, she told me that she had not even forwarded my note due to busy schedule but on Thursday she told me that she inquired with the visa office and they informed her that it takes '14 months' for a case to get completed. Is it what I should believe? I am not happy with her attitude. Can't I complain her? If yes, where and how?? Please let me know.
