I just have a quick question, is condition 51 if you have been 'married' for two years prior or in a 'relationship' two years prior?

Hubby just got his passport back, along with the COPR and has condition 51 (conjugal relationship for two years after PR granted) but we HAVE been in a relationship for more than two years at the time of application (though not married for two years prior). Is that why? Is it only actual marriage they are concerned about and not relationships?

Also, since he is maintaining some business contacts in India if he goes for occasional trips to India without me for a couple weeks on his own (during the two years) will that affect his PR since he has this condition? Like does it mean we can't be apart at any time at all?? Would I have to go to India with him on those trips to maintain that condition?? (Luckily I am not going to still be in the Navy or else I would be away for trips at sea leaving him alone).

As long as you guys are married after two from the date of the PR, that's the clause. It doesn't specify the trips taken for business or otherwise. After getting back together, there are seldom times when a husband and wife would want to stay away from each other. So nothing to worry about.

Application sent: May 26,2016
Application received: May 27,2016
File transferred: August 8,2016
Medical was done prior and was sent with the application and shows medical received on my cic.
No updates after that and shows In process. Eagerly waiting.

I have representative. So, I am not able to check ecase.

Is any of May 27 applicant got decision made?

Nope not much updates or any req from NDVO. MAY 28 app still waiting and have the same time line and situation as you have. Many still Waiting for may and some april apps.

Ok so this only comes into play in cases of divorce then? Obviously we will still be married... but there may be short trips apart.

Side note: he arrives Friday! FINALLY! And I convinced him to come direct Delhi to Heathrow, then Heathrow direct to Halifax. That way he avoids Toronto to do his landing. Halifax being much smaller airport means lesser lineups etc. and to fly to Toronto is 2.5 hours more, then 2.5 hours back to Halifax plus stopover time. So it saves him a lot of time.

And no updates here
