I am at least pleased to see that case specific information send via web form to CIC and NDVO...CIC people did replied that the update will be forwarded to NDVO. NDVO never send any acknowledgement . NDVO should learn from CIC canada staff.

I knew these dates as they take the same ones we get in the military. So they are done till the 28th now.

Seems little confusing....We applied with passport and pcc while she was having maiden name than later she changed passport under married name and we updated to cic and ndvo about the change ....do you think they will ask ?

Oh ok..now I understand..and We did the same thing. But months later when they opened my file they asked for original PCC which is ofcourse for new passport

Do you mind to share date of your PCC when it was submitted along with application ? and when did you changed old passport to new passport under new name ? Did address on old passport and new passport changed ? I am trying to find possibilities in my case

So I have a dilemma.

My husband dropped his passport today in person (well his cousin did) and they told him 10-15 working days before the passport is ready with the Visa. This makes it like the 18th of January and they told him don't book till 15 working days for flight. 18 January only gives us like 5.5 weeks before we have to go back to India on March 2. Is that enough time to get his PR card?

I know there is the 'travel document' but the whole process looks very complicated and looks like they start asking tough questions and questioning your intent to remain a PR. Like really the form makes it look like you have to prove your worth for PR all over again, along with all supporting documents.

Not sure what to do.

Im seeing that my wife's application status now has a 3 lines, the new line says "We started processing XYZ's application on December 19". But my wife has not received any e-mail yet and we dont see any update on Mycic. When can we expect NDVO to send an AOR email?

I checked my status and it says decision made on both sides...it was showing in process in my husband side yesterday...now it's decision made both side....does it mean that they sent a ppr request or how long it takes to get pPR request after decision made...my reprepresentative did not forward me any mail...
