This is not fair....and ndvo is working so slow don't know what they are doing few ppl got DM and still waiting for PPR some got BG in progress and waiting for DM, one applicant who applied in sept 2016 got ppr.......so random....and so unfair

I just checked it after reading your post. Its 12 months for those who applied from CANADA before 7th Dec 2016 and 12 months again if you applied after 7th Dec 2016.
If you applied from INDIA before 7th Dec its still 18 months and 12 months if you applied after 7th Dec.
But it also says that they'll clear the applications which were applied before 7thDec 2016 by Dec 2017.

The minister said this do not apply for people already in process. Our files will be processed within 8-9 months.

In another 8-9 months or total? Because my husband is at 11 months now still in BG check in process for the last month. Wondering if our timeline will go over 12 months?

who ever applied before December , this new rule of 12 months is applicable to them too . so who already is in there 8 months queue , will have to wait 4 more months. but like they said , its with in that time frame , so it could be less then 12 months .

So if I applied from Canada for my Outland husband in a india it should be 12 months now. Great that's also what CIC site says but we're in month 11 and they have not done anything. Means they better start soon to meet that deadline!
