I AM MAY 25 APPLICANT. TILL DATE WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO LINK OUR ACCOUNT VIDE GC KEY.

I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS. I HOPE SOMEONE WHO IS PRO AT LINKING APPLICATION'S MIGHT HELP.

I HAD NO SURNAME IN MY PASSPORT SO WE APPLIED WITH KAUR WHICH WAS IN MY GIVEN NAME " RATINDERJEET KAUR" . BUT AS PER ECAS THEY SHOW WE HAVE RECEIVED NULL RATINDERJEET KAUR'S APPLICATION ON....

SO HAVE THEY CONSIDERED NULL AS MY SURNAME SINCE WHEN I PUT KAUR IN MY SURNAME, THEY SAY NO APPLICATIONS COULD BE FOUND. REST ALL WE HAVE TRIED AND ALL OTHER DATA IS CORRECT.

ALSO USING THE UCI I HAVE RECEIVED FROM NDVO I CANT OPEN MY ECAS. SINCE MY HUSBAND APPLIED FOR MY SPONSORSHIP, IS IT THAT ECAS WILL SHOW STATUS WITH HIS DATA IN IT.

PLEASE SUGGEST HOW TO LINK TO GET DETAILS.

AND CONGRATS TO THOSE GETTING TRV AND BG IN PROCESS. HOPE THE MAY APPLICANTS GET SOME GOOD NEWS.

On my cic account when I click on ? Sign beside Review of eligibility - review in progress.
I see this

We're reviewing visitor visa, study or work permit eligibility.

If the eligibility requirements are not met, the application may be refused.

It was showing related to PR application before and now it shows like this
Any idea guys?

i just checked my application status page. It appears that they have updated the web page. It displays the same message when i click questions mark icon
near Review of eligibility. I guess its nothing to worry about.

I think we have same timeline, thought to update you that I applied for GCMS Notes which I received yesterday. Doesn't have any red flags but shows eligibility still in process and background check not started.

This forum is for Spousal applicants only, When u say you want to work, is your wife in Canada already?
If yes, she has to apply for a spousal immigration for you.

If no, then you need to check out the express entry program please.

Correct, they have updated their page layout, last week i had shared all the details from each step of the Mycic page, they have changed those details to reflect in a pop up message thats all.

The usual timeline for the folks who got the entire process completed end to end is 7-9 months average. There are other cases which have taken longer than usual and then there are extremely long ones too. Generally the rule of thumb which i have calculated (and not to be insensitive to others who are still waiting) are as follows:
Review of eligibility -Review in progress - 4.5 ~5.5 months
After this what is the next step ? - BG check which is about a month
Waiting for my sa ? - PPR request, stamping and return of your PP is another 2 ~ 3 week
Any idea how's its long ?

Now like i said earlier, don't hold me accountable for the timelines above, its just my observation reading through everyones timeline. This is just a rough estimate or rather guesstimate . That is the reason, from time to time we request all newbies to post and share their timelines in profile update pages and signatures.

For me it says "we reached final decision on your application....". so i am just wondering whether it is specific to my app status.

But sir in my case no aor2 receive and no sponsor approval mail?
I am still waiting for sponsor approval and aor2 .
