Finally, I've just sent out the application by courier today (15 Jan). Should reach Mississauga by Monday 18 Jan due to weekend. *fingers crossed* ;D

Hey. For an online visitor visa application, there is a section where I need to upload a file for an answer to the question - Purpose of travel. Now there are separate sections for letter of invitation and letter of explanation. So what can be written for purpose of travel? I'll be grateful for help.

Looks like after april 18, 2016 no dm's or ppr's (just docs requests etc)

Some post in previous pages saying something like this year limt was reached for family sponserships, is that true????

Or most employees who do final decisions at NDVO are on vacation???? (Since dussera followed by diwali)??

Hopenovember should give answer to this ... staying positive and with hope

It's Diwali and few of us away from our loved one's

No clue what is happening at Immigration front but visa officers needs to be empathical..... Can't digest this "almost" no movement. I am not saying get my file processed with priority but atleast keep processing file's with a consistent pace so that our hopes are up

Anyways...Happy Diwali guys and hopefully we all will be through soon

I Hope that they Unite us with our loved ones by New Year at least. They really need to pull up their socks . They should be more serious about uniting people even if it requires hiring more people if the work is too much for them.

You can add day to day itinerary during stay in CAnada, followed by flight ticket amd insurance copy

I filed in last week of May. The Sponsorship Application Status has changed from In Process to Decision Made in first week of September. But Permanent Residence Application Status remains In Process.

yes. quite similar. please check my signature in the initial question. It was filed on june 20th. sponsorship application changed to DM in september. Pr status is still in process.
Its very disappointing.
Ndvo can do it easily in 6 months. but the trends say it all about the intrest they have in processing.
