My GC Key is showing Background Check "In Progress" today. The status changed sometime between yesterday late night to early morning today. I did not get any email notification or a GC Key message. eCAS status still "In Progress"

Do we need a return ticket if someone is coming to Canada on TRV. I heard, that without return ticket, the person is not allowed to board in plane in India. Is that true? Please share your experience. I want to book a ticket for my spouse who got TRV.

Yes you need a return ticket to board a plane to TRV its mandatory. You can reschedule once your spouse lands in Canada.

If you can just show an itinerary that is not a confirmed ticket and a letter from ur sponsor that he/she will take care of the return ticket the cbsa officer will let u in ty

Johny they wont let them board the flight in india without a return ticket for them to meet the cbsa officer in canada lol

Oh i see...i had many friends coming on trv without that. They said their sponsor paying for his return ticket and they have never taken for secondary by any cbsa

My friends spouses were asked from Bangalore and Hyderabad airport to show return tickets. they booked when they were in airport costing more as they are two single way tickets. return tickets are generally cheaper.
