AOR1: May 4th, 2016
AOR2: June 15th, 2016
Medical: February 2016

Police Clearance and Landing Fees were submitted with original application.

GCKey indicates Background check in progress as of today. Any ideas on how long from Background Check to Decision Made?

I am and my wife are from Coimbatore as well. Currently I reside in Kingston, ON and my wife is in Coimbatore.

My wife's PR application just received her AOR2 from New Delhi.

We started processing your application on May 3, 2016.

My wife's application shows:

Started processing June 15th.

Very interesting to see NDVO's order of processing applications. Until yesterday, was under an impression that NDVO is going from April to January with applications being processed for third week of March (most of them received AOR2 end of April or early May) and now NDVO has jumped all the way to June's AOR2.

No issues as long as NDVO is processing some applications as all of us are on the same boat. But, fail to understand their ordering of application especially when CIC states that applications will be processed in the order they have received (exception being incomplete applications - i understand that part)

1. If my spouse is travelling on TRV and planning to stay for 6 months.

Should I change it to Inland application ? or I can still continue as Outland ? Outland applications are faster it seems.


2. Can I change address of Communication to Canada address ? instead of India ? or Outland should have Non Canadian Address ?

Is there any early August applicant who got AOR from NDVO.? Just wondering on there progress.

My file reached ndvo exactly 1 week before uzmi and I believe uzmi and some other users who got ppr this week have very similar timelines. Assuming (hoping) they are working backwards, I guess I should be next?

My aor2 was on 10th may.

I don't see any sort of trend (backwards or forwards) in the way they process the applications. Having said that, there is hope our application is could be next.
Is there any changes on GCkey? has the background started?
