Not really, they try to make it tough though
if u read appeal thread, that enlightens one
-vo sometimes make up story themselves to refuse cases (assuming people on appeal thread did not lie!)
- judges are more compassionate and listen to u
-cic likes immigrants from india, china, phillpines....or places where work ethics strong
- even if have genuine case, paper work and supporting documents are must

cic guys are human too, nothing harsh or tough case. just go there and prove it

They do seem to be working at least... just received my GCMS notes and this note was added in June. Any idea what they mean...

i know that's hard, i did apply trv for my wife recently and hate that one month time to know result.

Would you mind sharing the reasons for refusal? and i think you should try again (my friends some got positive result third time). .good luck

It is heart breaking, they should have some kind of visa like work permit (the ones they have for student visa spouses) so at least we can be with our spouse

Man no way its happening. ..while they trying to refuse few applications with no apparent reason

pari, ur right. there should be some kind of way/ work visa for the spousal sponsorship.
in case of parents, they made window of supervisa. its quiet successful and pretty fast.
on similar lines, there should be super-spouse visa
