When I asked my rep to check my status online she send me screenshot with.
Andre my name and home address it says
1: Sponsored person name (......)
2: Sponsorship application status
Decision made
3: permanent Residence application status
In process
What does mean I did not receive any email from NDVO
so worried

It just normal for everone. It says sponsorship is okei.....sponsoring person has met the eligibility to sponsor......the person who is sponsored has his/her application in process.......the point is that its taking minimum 7 months for passport request from the date immigration received the application

but,the thing is that it's already been 10 months now . I have a stupid Rep I am not able to see any movement
I am the sponcer living in Canada . My rep says it takes 18months is it true
His medical expired on January no request yet for remedial . :

Usually it is taking 7 months to 8 months ,general trend going on........i dont know why ur files got stuck........usually people here talk about gcms notes, mp inquiry when their files are late processed......may be u can try those........or ask ur rep if he can connect to gc key n know ur status

What is the processing time spousal visa applying from Canada ? My application almost 9 months, and i found this from CIC Web site, little confused , Any idea ?

If you applied before December 7, 2016
We’ve committed to processing most (80 percent) of the applications we’ve already received as of December 7, 2016, by the end of December 2017. We process applications in the order we get them.

If you haven’t applied yet or applied after December 7, 2016
We will aim to process most (80 percent) of the new applications submitted on or after December 7, 2016, within 12 months of the date of receipt.

Interview letter - Feb 20, 2017
Interview on - Match 6, 2017
Decision made - March 7, 2017
Passport request- March 14, 2017
Passport submitted - march 15, 2017
Passport received - March 20, 2017

It is advisable to go for APPLY ONLINE..( its easy n convenient)
1- Accept the terms and conditions
( Be ready with your credit/ debit card, as yu may need to ask to pay 5$ )
2- Fill out the information under the "Access to Information Act"
Fill the necessary informations asked along the way..
3- Attach the necessary docs wen asked..
4- Validate the forms..

I used to pray to God that don't put me in to the left out applicants list when it comes to my turn, just like may, June, July applicant still waiting...I am an August 10th applicant..I saw a August 15 th applicant got DM...so it's clear I am in to that hateful list...left out without any clue...hating my life rt now...

Finally got passport stamped Immigrant Visa. This forum was wonderful and helped me whenever I was in doubt of the process. It has been a very smooth journey without interview calls . I thank you Lord and you guys.

Applied: May 26 , 2016
File Transfer (NDVO) :August 2, 2016
PPR Req: March 6, 2017
Stamp-CORP: March 20, 2017
Landing: (Since I am in Canada currently, I will be doing the landing from here as soon as I schedule interview).

The result are from yur ECAS..
It states that your SPONSORSHIP APPROVAL IS APPROVED( DESICION MADE) and Your applicantion in still IN PROCESS..

This result you can be checked by you too..

You can see the results..

PS: Please Do not worry, as this time is frustrating I understand..but keep taking proactive steps and i'm sure you will receive it soon. Have patience..

The early processing time was 18 months (for the people who applied before December 2016) and rest who have applied after December have the processing time of 12 months( this is the changed rule)

Though these things/dates are on paper.. Generally file processing takes around 7-8 months only..
(Besides for ppl like me have to wait more, it is already 10 months for me now)
