hi everyone and congrats to all those who've received the good news of-late...as for me this whole Permanent residence DRAMA is turning out to be a HELL of a disaster ......staring down the 6th month after submission of Passports i don't see much hope,,,i'd be completing 1year since i submitted my application...and the way things are i don't see any reason why they should be returning my passports any time soon......

Same here dear, I am going to complete one year on 10th Agust 2012 still waiting for PPR ... ordered GCMS and according that they have not yet started security checks... all other things done... so hope for good news.. they did not request PPR with medical as I was in UK that time.

As u know GORA ppl are lakeer ke fakeer, u have made situation complicated for them...Why did u choose NDVO while u were living in UK, better went for LVO at that time...!!! Anoher member is struggling like u as he/she was in Uk and waiting for PP back. I think that slow down the process and hurting a lot..!! My sympathy are with u

Proof of marriage

- Copies of joint income tax returns.
- Evidence of joint checking, savings or brokerage accounts.
- Photo identification cards of both spouses with a new card for the wife showing her married name, and showing same home addresses.
- Driver licenses, credit cards, check cashing cards, employment ID cards, video club memberships, showing common account number, and/or address or both names or wife's name change.
- Real property deeds, mortgage agreements, or property tax statements showing joint tenancy.
- Apartment lease or a letter from the landlord indicating that both spouses live at the apartment or copies of rent receipts showing both parties' names.
- Employment documentation showing a change in records to reflect new marital status.
- Employment documentation showing designation of the spouse as the person to be notified in an event of an accident, sickness, or other emergency.
- Evidence of life insurance policies where the spouse is named as the beneficiary.
- Evidence of medical insurance plans which name the spouse as a member or beneficiary.

I selected NDVO as I applied on Aug 2011 and I had uk visa untill 6th march 2012... so...

Hello Bro, I think you are right. You and sidestep4u deserve "DM" before us but the thing is we can not predict their process. One fellow (physio) applied on Feb 2012, Med june 2012, and got visa in July 2012 so just in 5 months since he/she did initial application where you guys did medical in Feb and still waiting so I will pray for all of us.
