Dear friends,
I applied my PR application on nov 2010. And i got this updation in my CAS.

We received your application for permanent residence on November xx, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February xx, 2011 to (address). Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on December xx, 2011.

But today onwards my home address(Indian) is showing on CAS. Before that it was not there. How long will i have to wait for my medicals and other procedure to get visa? Its almost one and a half years now since i got my file number. Will there be any problem in my application?

Update of home address is normal......

Hi Neesha,

As I have seen many post from different forum it seems that there is nothing to do with address change and our process. People say that only Canadian address indicates positive sign so we all have to wait for Canadian address... I am in the same boat.. and wish you best of luck and pray for your quick process/...

Thanks mate, but how will i apply for CAIPIS? What should i do for that? pls help me..
And how long will it take for the whole visa processing ? I saw it in CIC website that it will take 8 to 12 months. I applied on 2010 nov and got my file no on 2011 feb. So its already more than 12 months.

I don't think so..after start processing line the next line would be of Medical Received follow by Decision Made..!!
There are four stage of a General MI-3 Applicant

eCAS Status
A-We received your application for permanent residence on dd/mm/yyyy"
B- we started procrssing on file dd/mm/yyyy
C- medical results have been received
D- decision made

I hope that would be helpful, PPL with Medical done and Seniors please also comment and confirm

Hi All,

I applied under arranged employment category. My total points were 73. My IELTS score was not that good. It was:
Reading: 4
Speaking : 5
Listening: 5
Writing: 5

Do you think they will reject my application because of low ielts score. But my total points are 73.

I received a file number letter through email from CHC New Delhi that says my application was received on 8 Feb 2012 at New Delhi Office.

I check my online status at CIC website regularly. Before 7 june 2012 it showed the status in process and that my application was received on 8 feb 2012.

But after 7 June 2012, when I check my online status it also shows my Canadian mailing address now with my in process status.

If anybody has an idea when will I receive my medical, please let me know. And will my IELTS score really matter for rejecton.
