Hi,

Its little hard to understand why you took 10 days to undertake your medicals. And now, most likely you shall receive a request to submit 'letter of deferral' upto next intake.

hey enfiled.
How are you?

bro you mean that we need not wait for a medical exam call? we should give it on our own as soon as possible?

Hi Enfield bhai,

I submitted my medicals on 16th August 3 days from the intimation date. bcoz 13th(Sat) 14th(Sun) 15th(Independance day) were holidays.

I suppose the cofindential report from the doctor would have reached Delhi on 17 th(Wednesday) August.Further I submitted my passport to vfs on 19th Aug(Friday), It got acknowledged from the CHC Delhi on 22 Aug 2011(Monday).....I thought everything was in time.

But now I am worried....The Basic Issue is I received my acceptance letter from institute only in mid july (15th)...within 14 days I filed my Visa with all docs like arranging for loan, bank statements everything......:(

Despite this...something went wrong...... I am very much worried. I have informed my institution as well regarding extension.

:( :( :(

Hi,

Ofcourse, yes ! I am in favour of Pre Medicals. Both General as well as SPP applicants can submit application with Pre Medicals. If you do so, you can save atleast 25 days of Visa processing which you are bound to looose in case of Post Medical.

And your Medicals are valid for 1 year and you do not need to undergo medical in your subsequent visa applications.

Earlier SPP's were not allowed to take Pre Medicals. Now the rule has changed (since September 2011) and they can submit application with Pre Medical.

*In case of Pre Medicals, do not forget to keep "Photo copy" of the Medical certificate which you required to submit in your second attempt.

Hi,

Yes you have done everything 'on time' atleast as per the rules mentioned on the visa checklist like for example, 'wait for 7 days to submit your Passport after your medical'.

Anyway, do not worry. If you got a call for Medical, it means your visa is almost sure. And now you are most likely to get a telephonic call from CHC Delhi to submit a letter of deferral (I got the similar call from CHC Chandigarh). So get ready with it ! well regarding extension.
