Hi i would like you all to share your timelines and let others know how long did it take in your case for the status update from in process to decision made.
Thanks

Re: time period between "in process" to "decision made" !!

I'm "in process" and would be interested to see some averages myself :). might make the wait a little easier...maybe not...but it's something to do anyway ;)

Re: time period between "in process" to "decision made" !!

To be honest guys, there isn't really a way to get an average time between IP and DM. This is because ECAS isn't automatically updated as the app processes, it is manually updated by the VO. Some VOs update it regularly and some don't. That's why some apps are In Process for 4 months while others are In Process for only 4 days. And it's why quite a few apps, like my partner's, go straight from Application Received to Decision Made; GCMS notes show that they started processing our app months before DM but the VO never updated ECAS.

The best number to look at is the average total processing time on your visa office's spreadsheet. That will give you the closest estimate to how much longer you have to wait.

Re: time period between "in process" to "decision made" !!

Yes that's a hard question to answer , because everywhere is different and the Ecas not a good indication.
But my partner went from PPR on the 10th dec - 16th dec in process - 24th dec decision made so as you can see it can be quick.
Now just waiting on the return of passports , fingers crossed COPR too.
