Hello Drkdd,

It is too early expect anything from the CIC. It would take atleast 50 to 60 days for Sponsorship approval and that is when you receive communication from CIC. So, be patient. You will have to go through this waiting game for a long time. Its been 9 months for me now

Could you confirm if pcc and medical needed for 'sponsor' ?

I think it is needed only for Sponsored spouse, right ?

Hi all,

I am new to this forum so please excuse me if I am posting in the wrong section.

I am getting engaged soon and was considering my options. As I understand, current processing time is easily 12-13 months for NDVO.

Is it OK if I have civil marriage only? Or traditional Hindu ceremony is required? Is there evidence of cases with just court marriage getting more queries?

What route are most people opting for in this forum?
