NOthing to worry. I attended the interview on 8th Dec 2016. It was very simple and straight forward. I was asked bring marriage photos which i had saved in my phone. I was not allowed to take the phone inside. However the officer said no need during interview. Type of questions depends on what specific documents they have asked you to bring along for the interview.

Good luck!

I had also interview on 8 Dec..

I tried doing an MP inquiry today and they said the immigration minister has set a new rule that there has to be a wait period of 3 months in between inquiries. Has anyone else been told this?

Are you going through a lawyer? If you and your wife are not sure about the process hiring a lawyer or consultant will be very helpful

Start with this thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/how-i-organized-our-applcation-and-a-summary-of-all-helpful-tips-i-have-learned-t92449.0.html

If someone has a new thread for documents after Dec 2016 change, please update.

Note that the process and the document requirements have changed. Less forms, max 20 photographs, etc. Go to the February threads if you have questions.

In my opinion consultant or a lawyer aren't required unless you have a complicated case. But said that, it required full 1 month of document preparation for me. Actually, even more as PCC and other documents took 3 months. So those were applied first. You may also have to work out how to get medical checkup done in India (and get an appointment at an appropriate time).

I would start with the most recent checklist and evaluate how much time is needed to get all those.
