this is not true about the early quota (information checked by our MP)...people do not post things if you are not sure about them.

J2087, you can do as many as you want MP enquiries it will not effect your application. Btw additional documents add 3-4 months more to the application.

Hi thanks you for reply
you mean to say it might take 3 to 4 months more from today for the pr process to be completed

See if they've confirmed they have received your document then all you have to do is wait till january next year. Because it seems their yearly quote is over and they will not be processing any more applications in the remaining 2 months of 2016.
It doesn't matter if you go to MP often. In any case, processing time was 19 months when you filed for PR so MP will only suggest you to wait for 2 months more. Also, if Gcms notes say interview waived, then you should be happy. I believe you will see movement on your application in January. Meanwhile, try for tourist visa.

Hi thanks for you reply,
i hope so that interview will be waived and it will happen soon,

No dear, usually you know when they request documents they put a 30-60 days time frame, it is already 1-2 months...even if you send the requested documents the same day of receiving the requesting email, they dont proceed the documents before the time frame mentioned in the email. And then you can add 1-2 months for verification and proceeding of the documents...thats why in most cases they say about 3 months after a ADR people get news from the VO, but it depends on what kind of documents were requested. For example we received a request for DNA test in April and only in August they send the remedical and PCC even though our DNA result was received by them in May.

Ok ... i got your point.. but an in my previous comments i mentioned that it's already been 7 months since i have sent the document and they are saying the same thing pending review ... that's why i asked you... as you mention 3 to 4 months based on your experience ...

Hey. For an online visitor visa application, there is a section where I need to upload a file for an answer to the question - Purpose of travel. Now there are separate sections for letter of invitation and letter of explanation. So what can be written for purpose of travel? I'll be grateful for help.
If you're applying for a visitor visa, It's obvious you're planning to visit for a reason... Can be visiting friends and family or occasion such as marriage, birthday or whatever it is. Could be tourism, in which case attach itinerary, hotel bookings, return ticket etc.

Hi. We got a request from CIC to submit few documents (BG declaration, Travel documents) to NDVO. What will be the best way to send them - By DTDC, Blue Dart, or Registered post?

Any advise would be helpful. Thanks
It's to be delivered to a post box no in Delhi. Usually Blue Dart accepts PO Box addresses, send it through anyone who accepts it. Even UPC India post is good enough.

Comment if you understood what I said. I wrote "it seems". Iska matlab "aisa lagta hai". I didn't say definitely. Also, it's not a coincidence that there hasn't been a PR for the past 1.5 months.
Hi ShaliVin - :( :( :( My files been inactive since July 30th when I sent documents they requested namely Personal Particulars of my son after he turned 18 and his PCC 2 weeks prior to it. My GC key access has remarks 'Background check-In Progress', Documents requested-Provided' and 'Medical-Passed' If quota is over for the year, Then we gotta sit tight till January 2017 is it? :( :( :(

Hi guys!!

I just got an update from my MP today and very disheartened. We are Feb 2015 applicants and everything has been cleared and the file is just in queue for a final review which we were earlier told took place and now we are told it is still in queue..so wrong information was provided by CIC to the MP in the first place. But now they have said that because of the volume of applications that are at the same stage as ours (i.e. file in queue for a final review), it can take upto Feb/Mar 2017 to get a PPR. And I am sharing this for all of you waiting for a PPR who have been told by their MP that their file is in queue for a review. Be prepared to hear something in the new year only because the volume of applications apparently is huge for reviews to happen. And MP office also said that because Oct is a festive season in India, people may have taken time off (i.e. vacation or such) to spend with their families hence even more of a delay!! Feeling so disheartened today!! I wish I could go kill the visa officers in New Delhi!
Please don't kill any, that will make as many Visa officers less to process. :)

Hi spokin,

Hahah ;D As much as I wish to do that, I know that will only worsen all our situation. But that is what I feel like doing! Lol! Tired of this long wait of 21 months and still going strong.... I hope it comes through fast! But I strongly feel they have reached their cap for this year hence no movement for the last month or so...I hear lots of people getting TRVs and other applications being processed but not PRs. Suxx for us! I wish whenever they reopen and touch files of 2015, all 2015 applicants get to hear from them and get their PRs. Amen!
