Hey guys I have a question for those of you that may have already gotten PPR for your spouses. My spouse previously applied for student visa in 2013 and was refused due to lack of financial funds. Does that have an effect on the Spousal Visa Application. Has anyone been in a similar situation and had to wait longer or go for an interview. Thanks

The following factors, set out in case law, are relevant in order to assess whether the relationship between the spouses is genuine.
• the spouses’ compatibility with each other
• development of the relationship
• communication between the appellant and his spouse
• financial support
• the spouses’ knowledge of one another
• visits the appellant made to his spouse
• previous attempts by the spouse to seek landing in Canada
• previous marriages
• cultural background

We had/have all these except "visits the applicant made to spouse" because I'm disabled and can't fly alone. Had a Drs note for that. Also, my dad got into a bad car accident (car was a write off) so my mo om and I couldn't just leave him because he had physiotherapy. Had a note from insurance, physiotherapist, and hospital. I really can't understand why the case was rejected. I guess just a case of bad luck for getting that VO.

I have the GCMS notes. Would it say the interview VO's name on those?

Does NDVO work on Saturday ?

There will not be any problem of previous study visa refusal due to lack of funds. Rejections on background verification/criminal or serious medical grounds has an impact. All other cases doesn't have to worry. Spousal case is completely different from study or visitor visa.

Hi everyone,

Received an email for interview which would be in Nov. I have few questions regarding that. Should I accompany my wife and child, would I be called in along with them or separately or later. She cannot speak English fluently.
Did anybody used interpreter services. People who had been through their interviews, please share their experiences.

Regards

If a sponsor will be in India on the interview date then must accompany the applicant to the interview. They usually call together to start with and ask few questions to the sponsor (3-5 minutes) then they take interview of the applicant (usually 20 min to 1 hour) depending upon when they feel that the case is genuine. Take all the necessary documents.
Prepare for it. Be consistent in your response. Speaking truth will ensure the visa approval.

You may use interpreter service. They are very easy for people whose english is not so good to communicate effectively. Interpreter service does not have any loss but only benefits.

What is a procedure for withdrawing an application?

Thanx all

Hi everyone anyone November 2015 applicant I m nov applicant only in status in process 3 line s

Hi

Its same with me. Dont worry, seeing last years record, NDVO should clear all 2015 applicants this year, with minor 4 -5 % left for jan.
So you should be hearing something soon in upcoming weeks.

Best of luck, keep in touch
