Hey just went through the interview and my suggestion is to attend as couple coz he told me that I will review and will in from by week coz lack of communication and lack of visit and it is strange that she is not accompaning you in interview.

Sad and upset and don't know what to do now...

thats true...i dont know why u guys didnt go together...this interview is way more imp thn dental appointment which could have been rescheduled again..but this interview happens only once..i hope things work out in a positive way for u..all the best dear

One point is that if they are looking for that only then they should not write words like if she is in India she should accompany or have to available in Canada for telephone interview.


I am really disappointed by the letter of interview itself.

but its mentioned that if she is with u she can accompny you and if abroad she can stay on phone...my friend has interview with her spouse.she was in india from last 4 months and they got so satisfied seeing them togther and didnt make any issue on why she is in india from so long..she said u can stay for two year out of 5 years of ur pr...lets hope for the best for u

Hey anyone can help me for filing appeal against the decision, coz my case mostly they are going to reject coz the person taking interview was not convinced with my above asnwers.

May be I need to go for fight with embassy.

Did the interviwer ask for medical/pcc/passport at the end of interview?
stay positive
Appeal is long process. where is ur wife lives (vancouver has least appeal time!!)
if he rejects ur case then after getting refusal letter, within 30 days file for appeal.
then wait something called Bluebook.....i m not aware of full process

I am also in the background check phase right now, been there for 5 months now and I'm a November 2015 applicant. Seems like a lot of 2015 applicants are in this stage right now.
