I am Nov 02 2015 applicant. I have received notes last Saturday in which it is clearly mentioned "Interview Required", but Criminality, Medical, Background status "In Process"

i did mp enquiry and got reply in second week of september
MP replied that they r doing background and security checks
and now i got email from immigration for interview on 20 september


as per ur notes
is it possibles that they r doing background and security checks
even if we r scheduled for interview ?

Hi... I am also scheduled for Interview as you know, I can't understand one thing is Why/What this peoples are doing during Background check, when we are physically present there at time of interview, can't this guys take the decision for genuinity of relationship? Why we have to wait for 1 or 2 months even after interview?

Strange....

Anyway I also have one question may be seems silly but....

What should be the answer for this question, as we are having mostly arrange marrage, I don't know the obvious answer for this one.

Thats a good sign dear that your Background checks are in progress that means after the interview you don't have to wait long times for the background checks to be completed. That means you'll get PPR within a month after the interview. I'm going for the mp enquiry within 2-3 days and will update you. I think there's only 10 percent people are left from 2015 applications and they've got 25% time remaining from this year. Now thats a good sign and also if they are gonna reduce the processing time from 19 to atleast 14 months according to my calculations that means we all 2015 applicants will get visa before March 2017 for person who applied at the latest of December.

Let's hope for the best for everyone & Thanks for lighting my hopes

Touch wood ... atleast this month there has been constant activity on 2015 applicants or else if we were to look back at June and July there was PPR and DM once every 2 weeks.

Just hope that there they are clearing all the May and June files ASAP

No update dear for me. Not sure for the processing times for your country but hope they get it done in this year.
