It should be ok. As you land in toronto(landing in canada), your immigration will be done there. Let the officer know that you expect to spend some time in toronto but your final destination/home is in alberta. You have to explain in detail why you intend to stay in toronto so that the officer believes you.

FINALLY SHINY VISAAAAAA

However, I would like to stop over at Toronto for a week before I meet my husband in Alberta. My visa says destination says that it is Alberta. Will stopping over at Toronto cause any issues?

Did officer say anything to you at the end of the interview? Looking at the answers of your question, i guess your interview went pretty well. I pray for your early approval of visa.

Hi
Are you sure they hand over the social Insurance card at the airport when you land? I had heard they post it to you later. Anyone who can throw some light on this , Pl do so.

Don't stress too much. It depends on many factors like difference in education between you and your wife, culture difference, marriage ceremony etc. If you and your spouse are compatible according to the officer, you won't get interview call. Replying to your original question: It can take from 2 weeks to two months to get decision made/PPR after remedicals. In rare cases, it can go beyond that time period.
Don't worry too much about ' decision made' part. It was showing ' in process' even after I got the email for PPR. They took 3 days to update it
