That's what I m saying tht I didn't got any email and my ecas status is still saying IN PROCESS......but in the mp inquiry they are saying that ppr is sent just two days back.....on Friday

Try to link ur application to mycic right away please

i checked in Ecas it says
We sent you correspondence on July 26, 2016. for PCC
Ans: i had submitted on 18 Aug 2016 .

and there is one meessage in ECAS ......
"We sent you correspondence on August 23, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."

but i didnt received any Email ......

Send a cse attaching a screen shot of your ecas
Order gcms notes under privacy act
Contact/phone or email your local mb regarding this
There are people who were successful calling cic and got info
So please do try calling them first

Hello everyone

I wish everyone is doing well. I know this thread is for spousal sponsorship, but my husband is sponsoring our 8 month old daugther from Afghanistan. Her sponsorship application was send to CIC-New Delhi in June this year. I am wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for dependent child sponsorship via New Delhi? the cic website shows about 17 months I have already recieved my visa and my concern is that my visa might expire before our daugther application is approved.

also is there any topic on this forum about child sponsorship via CIC-Delhi?

Aug is about to end and i dont even see May applicants cleared.
i remember a time when CIC processed applicants exactly a year behind...
Things have gotten terribly slower! it has gone worse not better

NVDO could not understand our situation, my application passed 12 months but no news after transfer my file to NVDO since Nov.2015.
Do you have any suggestions?

I linked my application in GCKey on July 26th. Today I received an email at 1:42 AM EST with the below contents.


Subject :Your application(F*********) has been updated

Email contents :

Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your account and check your application status and messages for more information.

This message is intended for the following e-mail address: xxxxxx@gmail.com. If this message is not for you, please delete it.


When I login into MyCIC and check the application status and messages, nothing has changed. I verified ecas staus also, nothing there either.

I have submitted my remidical on June 25th and waiting for furthur updates.

Any advise guys ?
