Hi

Brief background - I am a PR in Canada and presently working in Canada. Ours is an arranged marriage. I am filling spousal application for my wife.
Some of the questions and the options given....I am not able to understand. Could you or any members of the forum help me in this process.

IMM 1344
Q3: Is there a cosigner on this application?
The form mention co-signer must be the spouse or common-lae partner. But I also read in the application guide that spouse cannot be a co-signer. Could you please let me known.

Signatures
Where should my wife sign?...I mean under 'Signature of sponsor's spouse' or Signature of sponsored person (principal applicant) or both? Could you please provide information.

IMM5481
Q 5.A - Current undertaking - Is it '0' or '1'.
I have not sponsored anyone before. I guess it is '0'. Just wish to check with experienced forum members.
Q 6
A - is it '1'
B - Is it '0'?

Q 7 - What is Option-C print out? How to obtain? Any information, please.

Page 2:
5 B - Details of persons included in previous undertakings you signed as sponsor and that are not yet in effect.
Should I keep it blank or do have to provide my wife name.

Q6 A - Should I include my wife name here.

Thanks,
N

Even though i got PPR, My online status still showing "IN PROCESS". Does anyone know why ?

Congrats!!! Can you please share what your timeline is? Also, did you have ADR or interview at all? Or all straight forward case and just delayed PPR?

Regarding the online status, that is normal. Some people's E-cas statuses dont change even after they have landed. Don't worry about it!

Hey Guys,

Need your advise here. We submitted our application in July 2015. SA was approved in September and application was forwarded to NDVO in the same month. We got re-medical request in 17 June 2016 and submitted it on 21 June. We haven't heard anything after that and its been 53 days we have submitted re-medicals. We did MP inquiry in the last week and we are notified that background is in progress and security check is yet to start. Also I was told that it takes 3 months to get the medicals updated in CIC systems. I am not sure what should do now. Please advise guys. Also can any one advise what is the difference between back ground check and security check and how long does it usually take for the checks to complete.

Thanks in advance !!

Hi

Generally it doesn't take much after PCC being requested but the pattern isn't sure as there are people for whom it has taken more than 2 months.
Rest it also depends on the timeline of your application.

Maggie
Thanks Maggie!
Another question, Since my son is going in a week on student visa, how does he get his visa stamp on immigration approval or get his first entry marked assuming we both get our PR in a month or so? Anyone with similar experience?
