I am 29th April, 2015 applicant. Additional docs were sent on 20th April,2016. Re-medical done on 4th April, 2016.
I did MP inquiry 2 times. Background/Criminality/Security are not started yet.

Its been over 100 days since re-medical.
I don't know, what to do next?

Please help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi April_29,

Usually it takes approx. 3-4 months more after ADR so you should hear something soon now but currently with the way NDVO is working, it is quite unpredictable when anyone is going to hear back from them. Goodluck !:)

You should force your MP to check on your application again. I was contacted 2 months after ADR

Hi, ask your MP to communicate on this issue with NDVO. MP will communicate with NDVO and update you.

In my case, i sent my baby's (new born) documents to NDVO 2 times with case specific enquiry and 1 time physical documents via DHL.

but even after 3 months of sending the documents when I did MP enquiry, i got reply that NDVO is not having your new born information, My MP office representative asked me to send documents to her and she will forward it to NDVO. I did order notes ( 2 months after MP sent the documents) and found information is updated.

Now waiting for DM/PPR as re-medicals were done on March 19, 2016.

Its frustrating ............. I don't know if we can challenge CIC/NDVO process in court but seriously there must be a way to protest this lengthy waiting process.

Thank you PGU.

My wife's re-Medical is updated and logged into the system. Her medical is now valid till July 2017. So it is not medical they are requesting for. The MP enquiry also said the same thing.

The problem maybe because my wife does not have a last name in her passport. Only given name. I made a mistake of adding one of her names as her last name on her forms. Maybe NDVO needs clarification on that.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Also my wife is here with me in Canada on TRV since October. Maybe they want a PCC from here. I hope it is something very simple that they are asking for.

U did ur wife's remedial in canada only??
I am also planning to apply for trv...... Is it easy to apply for trv while application is in process.
After PPR request... Is ur wife wil come back to india??
Or is it possible that visa wil issued in canada itself?

Hi,

Yes, wife did the remedical in Canada. I had to pay for all the fees (Doctor's fees, lab tests, x-ray).
It is easy to apply for TRV while application is in process. Important to establish ties back to India. We showed that the ticket purchased was a return ticket.
No need for my wife to return to India after receiving PPR. When we get the PPR, we will send her passport to Ottawa.
Yes, its possible that visa will be issued in Canada.

I checked myCIC this morning and noticed that the "Review of Medical Result" shows "Passed". My wife did her medicals on Friday last week and I think its too quick. Is it possible that this "Passed" remark is for the Original medical that she submitted or is it for the new one? Is there any way to know?

If it helps, she did at the doctors that was eMedical capable. So I'd imagine it might be fast, but not sure how much quicker.

Vizz will, Vizz will, ROCK YOU.

Your medical is the only pending thing. Once they received medical, you are good to go. Background check only shows in process when eligibility clear.
There are chances that GC is not up to date always. One person received PPR while his background check was showing not started, eligibility in progress and medical passed.
I hope you will get re-medical request soon.

You are correct my friend. According to the GCKey only my wife's medical is passed, the eligibility is in the process of review and the criminality check has not started. I spoke to my MP and she contacted the immigration staff in Ottawa and she found more up to date information. She said that the eligibility has also been passed. Only thing remaining is the criminality check. It seems GCKey is not updated. The information the immigration staff provide are from the NDVO office directly.

Go for full medical and carry it with you including new PCC while going for interview. It will save lot of time in future to creat further request. Best of Luck
