when u sent ur 1st MP inquiry ?

Spouse file done on 25th March 2015....we did our first MP inquiry in Feb 2016.....because we never received AOR2 or UCI number from New Delhi when file was in process. Every time I did MP inquiry, they told me the file is in process and it will take 17 months....then the processing time changed...so they said now it will take 19 months.... Thanks to GOD that we finally got some update

I mean it is student season now and all files from the cities in and around Delhi including neighboring states are controlled by Delhi High commission.
Punjab, Chandigarh and Haryana are served and controlled by Chandigarh Consulate but Delhi Consulate/High commission controls very big area. I am pretty sure they would have dedicated manpower for different type of cases but as soon as certain cases like student cases increase they will be shuffling manpower accordingly as well.

This does not mean they shut down that particular case with lowest load but it does definitely slow down other types of case process.

Why I am saying it this way is, Consider CIC as an organisation/business house but also a functioning as part of government just like police department. When there is certain concert or main event major part of police or security agencies are deployed on that event and minor part is still trying to cover up for others and their daily routine.

This happens every 3-4 months as Canada has trimester system and in Ontario semester starts every January, May and September. Then there are other provinces as well and I am not sure about when there semester starts and how intakes in those provinces work.

So my wife is coming to visit me in Canada. We already got a visit visa approved back in October 2015. It's valid for 2 years. She will come to Canada and stay with me till we get a remedical request and a subsequent passport request (fingers crossed). The remeds will be done in Canada. And the passport request hopefully will come. Then we'll send the passport within Canada.

Has anyone else done this? Please let me know

Are they started giving visitor visa?. I am oct 2015 applicant. Straight forward case. I don't why they are taking so much time. Should be apply for visitor visa? And is it possible to submit passport in Canada for ppr stamping? Please suggest how to proceed on temporary visa.

Any suggestion on getting trv. Do we need to give a serious reason for it.
I mean is it enough to say we are missing our spouse and want to visit him/her for some time. Please guide.
