NEW DELHI - 2015 SPOUSAL VISA APPLICANTS

Hello everyone I am new to this form but looking for some help. I have applied for my wife last year under spousal category. I am PR in canad , I have send the application to CPC Mississauga last year, they received the application on 20th of July. After that they send me acknowledgement about that I am eligible to sponser my wife and they are forwarding to Delhi. After that I checked the online application status on behalf of my wife using her application number, they have three lines over there:
1 we received your application.
2. We started your application on 18 September
3. Medicals have been recieved.

Since than its showing in process.

can someone tell me what will be the next step and how long it will take , it's almost a year now.

Also does any one can tell which month CIC is working on right now

Any help can be appreciated.

Dear folks, I am Dec 30,2014 applicant for spousal sponsorship and still waiting. I have gone through the posts and what is meant by MP enquiry? Is it the same as case specific enquiry?

no just got email today for interview if interview is required they will ask for interview first then after re medical and then passport that's what i m guessing.

GCMS notes and MP inquiry should be ur next course of action!

1. If u cannot show income tax returns, show all the property & assets (gold, vehicle, house) etc that are in your name. This will establish that you have "adequate ties to your home country"


As I said I do not have property n all, some money in my account, and yeah gold. (No vehicle and no house).
I have only my husband in Canada, rest of family members are here only. :( :( :-[

Try it, if you think you can convince VO of ur genuine relationship and about returning back (you have all relatives in India)

If ur in Canada, go to ur local area MP office. tell them about ur immigration application and request for inquiry frim CIC.
they get back to u after few days

Many July 2015 applicants have recently received remedical requests. If you haven't received one yet, either you can wait for another 1 or 2 weeks or you can apply for GCMS notes at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp. It costs $5 and you will get PDF notes with any updates on your file in 30 days.

thanks for the update can you give the date of interview?
all the best....go through the questions together and prepare well for it and carry all proofs possible.

Hi, may 8 applicant here. i was requested an additional document after my re-meds and no update yet since then !!
