UPDATE ON MY APPLICATION

We received the Re-medical letter today May 20.
The letter is dated on April 25 and we received it just today by regular post.

My timeline is on the left.

I already applied for another set of notes on Wed. Night.
Dated on April 25? Poor service by India post.. Not fair at all..

Congrats rambopg!!! Wow it took a month for you to receive the letter in the mail?? Did you not give them an email to send correspondence to?
Or do they just choose what method to use?

It seems that due to monday's off, embassy guys were in long weekend mode. Hope to c applicants after 9th june getting updates by next week.

Baki ndvo da barhaa i aukha...

Congrats Rambopg for remedical rqst

Hi All,

Can anyone please guide me , do we receive any envelope with the passport which should not be opened and to be presented to the immigration officer?

I received an envelope in which there was my stamped passport and confirmation of Permanent Residence documents only. No any other sealed enveloped was received by me.

Please clarify.

There is no such sealed envelop
Just 2 copies of COPR...one yours and one their
You dont have to sign it now... the officer at Canadian airport will go through the COPR with you and then ask you to sign it

Hope it helps

Congrats Rambopg,Finally :)
So re medical was requested was generated for you on 25 th April itself. But since they send it via post u got it almost after a month.
Did you received email as well ?

Yes, Re-medical was request on 25th April itself. But I got it almost after a month!
They only use one method of communication either email or post.

I had given the email id in our original application but they never entered it in their system. So I always got everything by Post.

Even the postage stamp is dated for 26th April!

Funny enough I applied for TRV on 25th April and got approved on 2nd May. If I had known that we got re-med, I would have retracted my TRV application.

When did you apply for notes?

I applied on 22 April

Applied March 2015
Current Status: In Process
GCMS notes show: Recommended Interview and on the bottom of the paragraph shows "interview waiver recommended"
No word on re medical or interview.

Processing time before showed 17 months on CIC website and now it shows 19 months. Don't know which one applies to me.

I think the paper pushers in NDVO are Indian Babu's. They don't give a shit which is why there is no consistency in any of the cases.
