We contacted our local MP for appointment, however do everything electronically as their Edmonton office is under construction now.
This is what they replied
"Based on CIC's current processing times, I see that it is within the normal processing times of 19 months for the New Delhi office, until October 2016. Our office can look into the file for you, but you need to know that, seeking information on a case that is still within the processing time could delay the finalization of the case because it may have to be pulled from the queue to determine its status. In order to look into your file we will need a signed consent form from your wife. I have attached the form. Please have her fill out, sign & date and have a witness sign & date"
Already waited for 12months..with no re- medical god knows how much more they can delay :-X
I will anyways wait for couple of weeks more as I have already applied for notes on 16 th Mayand use MP inquiry as last option.
