May 14th applicant here, no update from NDVO & no re-medical request too. It's been 1 year exactly.

My e-cas status, 3rd line is also not updated "Medicals results have been received"

Can someone please advise here. Thanks in advance.

Don't worry about ECAS. As you saw one applicant couldn't even access his ECAS during the whole procedure and he got PPR!

I am April 30 applicant, no update either, no re-medical request. My last set of notes printed on April 14 shows nothing started.

Order your notes, it will tell you if they have touched your file or interview recommended or re-med sent.

I also got my GCMS notes today.. medical validity is May 30th but got remedical request today... That's fine :)
I applied notes on April 22nd... got remedical rqst and notes on the same day

I think applying GCMS notes is a good thing.. at least they open ur file else they are sleeping :D ;D
You Applied for notes on April 22, means it got generated on 22 or 23. Could you please provide details as when you received your notes was there any Visa officer assigned to your file? Was the location of file "Registry"?

I am trying to understand whether your files was picked by the visa officer before you applied for notes OR your file went into actual process after the notes was generated and you received it.

I also applied for notes on Apr 22, got generated on same day and I received on May 9th. Nothing is started, no visa officer is assigned and file is still sitting in Registry.

Any July applicant applied for notes during end of April, please provide the status of your file.

many thanks

I would say you should wait. Visa officer will open your file after June applicants are done. Right now Early June 1-9 applicants are getting RE-meds. This is why nothing has been started on ur file up until now.

Once you see end of June applicants getting Re-meds, it means they have started July applicants eligbility.

My mp office called back with depressing news

Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to update anyone that goes through a similar process. My husband lives in the states and we got a PPR to send to New Delhi, we requested to the New Delhi CIC in regards to alternating the location to send the passport. We got a answer in 24 hours with the altered location. So great results from New Delhi.

Yes it is first marriage for both of us

alright Thanks. I was thinking that they picked up all first marriage simple cases and processed them on a priority basis. But that theory fails as well lol. Good luck buddy

First marriage doesn't mean simple case lol.
For NDVO a second marriage could be more simpler sometimes than first marriage. So it all depends on how good your story writing is in chronological order and your proofs.
Sometimes if you stayed for only 2-3 days after marriage then it could be construed as a red flag for NDVO. But it all depends...

Well there has to be a criteria on which they picked up those files after July where some people got ppr's and other like him and me are still waiting. A simple computer generated criteria could be everyone with first marriages or everyone with 3 eyes or 9 fingers(Who knows). They must have just picked up files based on some sort of criteria unless they went completely random. So i thought since people in Mississauga enter basic information during sponsor approval, then anyone could filter files based on any of the columns and decide to finish those files first.

I highly doubt they read everyone's case and then decided "oh this one looks straight forward". Hence me asking the question about if it was first marriage for both and/or some other complications with the file.

I think they do have a quick view at all the files in a month and pick the ones that they believe are easy. The rest they believe will have to be looked at more closely to connect the dots and spend more time on.

For example mine. Notes says nothing started. But file location says with the Visa Officer
