may 11th applicant its been a year today :'( haven't heared anything after remedical over 3 weeks now .... really disappointed

You can carry as much cash u want but you have to declare it in the immigration forum they'll provide you.
You must declare all the cash and worth of goods and if you r carry cash more than 10000 you must hv valid proofs from where u got that cash.
i.e. if you took that from yourr account you must have the proofs for the same. hope that helps.

No you dont need to carry any money. I know some of the agents in India tell to carry $20000 but that's not mandatory. One of my frd's agent said the same thing but at the immigration they didnt ask money.

Dev_123. For Immigration purposes: You can carry $1 or $20 it doesn't matter to CBSA. You can come empty handed and no issues.

So no it is not mandatory to carry money. But if you do bring money/jewelry then you have to declare it (especially if it is $10K+)

Dont get disheartened! WE will all hear something VERY VERY soon!! It is okay if some people are getting it before us...that's what usually happens when they change a system Its sad but there is nothing we all can do about it. But lets all be positive because positive vibes will bring positive news for all!! I guess it is a year for some May applicants and will be for June ones next month so they should definitely be getting on those files now. Just stay POSITIVE! WE are all going to get it sooner or later. Its just frustrating to keep anticipating something and not hear anything.
