When did I say I am just waiting and watching. After thinking a lot and getting frustrated I applied for my wife's visitor visa and got approved.
Applied on April 25, 2016 and got approved on May 2, 2016. If she got rejected for visitor visa, I would have gone to India in summer to visit her or asked her to apply for USA visitor visa.
congrats rambhog , can you pls tell me what you need for applying visitor visa , because I am also thinking to apply for my husband ,otherwise I have to go back to visit my husband . Please suggest me , I am so much frustrated now . Thanks

Well, I doubt someone would lie bout this.. What will they get by doing so.. These forums are to support each other rather than showing off.. Let's all stay positive and help each other out..

I believe you should hear back from NDVO in the upcoming week & I received the PPR through E-Mail.

Hey i actually thought the same 2 days ago...and digged through spreadsheets a bit! There are more than 10-15 people who have received DM, and they all have been following this forum since day 1. I read all their communication, and i highly doubt they are lying.
I guess this is real ,lets all keep up our hope and believe in a speedy process :)

Preet i dont think it matters where they are from. Just tell your MP they are from all over canada. I am not sure why people are not telling her where they are from. Come on help the girl out if you are lucky enough to get ppr/dm

I contacted my agent, she said same thing that ppl are making up. For all the cases she is handling, she only got remeds for april/may applicants. She never heard anyone getting ppr or dm from aug/sept/oct/nov applicants. So i think we should be patient and wait for our turn

How did u show permanent ties in India?? People have said hat they reject TRV if ties r not shown.
Is your wife working in India?
I want to apply for trv, but my wife is not working, she left her job when we got married.
Is there any other way to get the TRV approved?

August applicant/received the VISA. I don't think anyone is making up stories here. I'm from Mississauga Ontario. June/July applicants, hope you all get your remeds/DMs soon.

To be honest, the back home ties I showed were pretty weak. As I hear it all depends on the Visa officer's mood and your relationship proof.
The only permanent tie I showed of my wife to India is her chequing and fixed deposits account totaling approx. $14,500 (one of them was joint account with her parents)
My wife quit work and her last day was March 31st, 2016 (I showed the end of employment letter, experience letter showing she had been working there for 4 years and her last 7 pay stubs)

Other things I showed:
  • Invitation letter inviting her to visit me, in-laws: signed by me, my father and my mom
  • My 4 month chequing and 1 month savings account
  • House documents I bought for both of us
  • Marriage certificate + All the photos of my 2nd trip to India after wedding showing us going to restaurants, my cousin's wedding, celebrating wedding anniversary in Singapore

Funny thing is, my mother-in-law also applied for visitor visa separately 3 weeks before I did and she still hasn't gotten any updates (In-Process). And she even has USA visitor visa plus she has good travel history as she visited US twice before.
