Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask if anyone did landing within Canada. Did you go the CIC office or at the US Border ? From what I found if we take a appointment at CIC office then there is no need to do landing at the border. Wanted to confirm if anyone has experience with this. Thanks

You can take a appointment to land inside canada, it happens at stclair office if in toronto but usually there is a month long waiting time and so people usually drive across the border and get back.

Sorry, when I read my response, I feel it might not be clear.
For the items you are carrying with you, you do not need bills and photos. But for the items that are going to follow or you'll bring in another trip, you should carry photos. They may ask you. Just realized after reading the last message that I did not highlighted this properly.

Question for you all: When does your E-CAS status change? It says they update it every Tuesday. Do you guys only see a change on Tuesdays or its randomly on any day? For all the ones that have seen their status change to DM please shed some light...

Hi,
It can be changed randomly on any day.

Hi guys, I am June applicant. Still havent heard anything from ndvo. I think we june applicants should break our silence and talk to MPs to enquire about our files. What did we do to deserve such unfairness. I am gonna talk to my MP. Please suggest me, should i talk to MP on phone or write an email or personally book an appointment to meet him.

Jan 2106 applicant here.

So, my wife got DM today (May 5,2016). But the passport is already with NDVO since May 2, 2016 since we also got approved for visitors visa :o

Now I am confused how we will get Passport Request for PR and also get visitors visa stamped on it since it is already with NDVO! ??? ::)

I am October applicant and i really wish that all May/June/July applicants get passport request next week. it's been almost 7 months since i applied and i can understand how you guys are feeling right now. Plzz God do something so everybody get passport request very soon :) :) :)

I am July applicant and in same boat. I spoke with my MP on Monday and visited today. The lady told me your eligibility check has not started yet. That is it she told me. Her calculation was this 12 + 5 = 17 and you are still under 1 yr.. I said I know I am under 1 yr. but how my friend got visa when she applied in October 2015. She said may be her case was different than yours. She said we can not inquiry again and again and we can not push them. You need to wait only. its only 10 months you have applied.
