I am a June 24 applicant. My Medical expires on June 3.
I thought May2015 files were started and now I am looking at August n September files coming through(am happy for them) but it is not fair to the people who submitted their files in May, June n July!
Does any one have any idea as to how much more time will it take for NDVO to reach there??
It is really depressing to wait for so long and we cannot even do anything else.
Sometimes it is better to not check the forum daily. It can be depressing as well :P
Just check it once or twice a week. Will make your life easier.

The processing times have now changed guys. They have classified it again as per country and India is now sitting at about 20 months which might explain the delay in everyones files since March 2015. This is really shitty! SOO MAD!! >:( >:(

Congrats to you. You are July 3rd applicant which means they have touched July too. We are July 28th Applicant.
Earlier we were upset why only NDVO is taking so much time when all other countries takes very less time. I know 1 applicant who belongs to Pakistan and they applied just a week ago from us and the applicant is in Canada since 4 months. But now not only other countries, NDVO also doing it at fast track but skipped JUNE JULY Applicants which is really painful.

Yup it is showing 20 months (with 39 days of SA time)

regards,

We saw all lot of updates & things moving at good pace in the last few days. I suggest to fellow members that don't let the figure of 20 months add to your stress.
Managing a long distance relationship is tough as it so we shouldn't dwell up on this.

I did an Mp Enquiry I was told Eligibility is finalized and passed Medicals are valid until June 4 and background verification is in progress. Does anyone know how long do background checks take usually?
