If u hv presented ur case properly then u can get direct ppr....for second marriage case all previous legal divorce paper shld be in place.....proper cover letters n sufficient proof of relationship genuiness can get u thru this process without any interview or adr.....best wishess

ppr came arnd 9 am ist.. we just received it from our lawyer..

july applicant.. mine is simple straight forward case.. arranged marriage.. 4 yrs age gap.. we had formal engagement and traditional wedding.. sent around 40 pics totally my location is chennai.. my timeline on the left..

iam on trv in Canada. i am on this forum say more than 8 months and helping with whatever i know abt family class and visitor visa.. and i ll be on this forum to help people.. only wen u be on some one's shoes, u FEEL what it is to be like..

Hi Menthok,

You should get a direct PPR depending on your timeline of events during the course of your relationship. If you guys started talking after the divorce for your husband was finalized, and by that I mean your divorce decree date, then you should be all good. If perhaps you started talking while the divorce proceedings were on and your husband got his decree few months later and then you got married sometime after that, they might call you in for an interview because to them its the timeline that matters. Our GCMS notes show an interview and my case is similar to yours except my husband lives in NZ but citizen of India still. I closely examined my notes and found that this is probably what they are focusing on--the timeline of how our relationship developed. Because by the immigration law, this is what they look at to evaluate your relationship:


"In assessing the genuineness of a marriage, the Immigration Appeal Division usually considers a broad range of factors including, but not limited to, how the couple met and how the relationship evolved, the duration of the relationship and the amount of time spent together prior to the wedding, the nature of the engagement and/or wedding ceremony, the intent of the parties to the marriage, the evidence of ongoing contact and communication before and after the marriage, the spouses' conduct after the wedding, the level of knowledge of each other's relationship histories, the provision of financial support, the partners' families' knowledge of and involvement in the relationship, the knowledge of and contact with extended families of the parties, the level of knowledge about each other's daily lives, and plans and arrangements for the future. The factors are not exhaustive and the weight assigned to them will vary according to the circumstances of each case."

I hope there is no interview for you guys but if you do get called in, dont be scared. Just be confident and know that your relationship is genuine. But remember that they dont see emotions. They need factual evidence. Its like proving yourself in court.

Wow guys!!! Congrats to all the Aug applicants!! I am sure it must be a great gift and blessing for all of them!! And May and June applicants! I hear ya!! Its terrible when you are waiting anxiously for news and get to see others after you getting their visas. But hang in there! Like Nabaaf said, I believe CIC or IRCC has different ways of picking files and they have to meet targets as well. I know it sux that it had to be the june applicants but hang tight! You'll hear soon from them. But if it makes you feel any better, theres some feb and march applicants too that havent received their PPRs and some MAy applicants on this forum whose files havent even been looked at. So dont worry they havent forgotten you...just changed their strategy of picking files I suppose.

ppl from 2015 got interviews based on visa issues like overstaying or cancellation of visas.. not relationship issues.. if they have mentioned they are not satisfied with ur proofs, den u need to wait for long.. currently aug-sep 2014 applicants are getting interview dates.
