My wife is 19th may applicant.she got reassement requset 15april.reassenent done 16april.how many days to get ppr or dm.plz reply me.

Hi,

When did your medical expire and file was transfered to NDVO , even I am 20 May applicant still waiting for re-medical but my medical will expire on May 10.
May be that is the reason I have not received re- medical yet

Hi guys,

My wife just got PPR last night. We had following timeline:
Package recieved : July 7th
AOR1: 7th August
AOR 2: 14th September

No remed request no nothing.. directly PPR .. confirmed it by checking my wife's Ecas.. shows DM so it is truely done.

1. My wife is in Canada right now on TRV, should I just send her passport to Ottawa as per the email address ( do I need to show change of address?)
2. How long does it take for Ottawa to return the passport?
3. The 4th bullet point in the PPR email instructs on how to send passport to Ottawa but after that there is a bolded sentence about sending the passport within 30 days to NDVO otherwise the application may get rejected.. so confused by the conflicting statements .. so should I send passport to NDVO or to Ottawa?

Just a small tip for people still waiting for PPR.. apply for TRV asap and try to get your spouse with you in Canada.. after that dont think about PR at all. That's what I did. Called my wife to Canada on TRV and she found couple of volunteering places so she's been going there for couple months now. If you keep yourself busy and don't think about PR, the wait gets very easy. Cheers

Yes send it asap

It takes anywhr between a week to two weeks to get passport back frm ottawa....in few cases it had taken abit more thn what i mention whereas it can be sooner as its unpredictable.....

Yes forward it to ottawa ....30 days is the time period in which it has to reach any one of the visa office

Collected passport with visa from VFS office today.

Could u share wn did u submitted passport? And did u collect passport from vfs jalandhar?
My passport is submitted at interview time 14 march bt i got ppr on last friday to send envelope
I hv submitted envelope through vfs jalandhar on monday and on tuesday i got sms that visa application tracking id ************** has beend forwarded to canada visa office chandigarh. After that nothing rply, bt wn i check my tracking id its shows being processed at new delhi, i called to vfs helpline she said ur application is procesed at new delhi office

Oh man I am so happy today. Got a decision made status on the CIC website. Others from Aug went straight to PPR wonder why mine only DM. Can't complain though so happy it came this fast.
