NEW DELHI - 2015 SPOUSAL VISA APPLICANTS

Hi Guys

So I finally received my notes today but no good news as I Was expecting! My husband has been recommended for interview and I guess we are in the long haul to receive the visa now. :( :(

Can anyone tell me when we hear from Immigration regarding Interview? The notes clearly say everywhere recommended for interview but security, criminality and medical it still says not started. Is that normal?? Would they start that after the interview? And when do they inform us that they are going to require an interview? Is it only once they have a date to give us or they inform us prior and then email us a second time with the date?

Hi Preeti2072,

I am on the spreadsheet but here is my timeline:

Application Filed: February 25, 2015
Sponsor Approval: April 30th, 2015
File transferred to New Delhi: May 15, 2015
Status change to In Process: Oct 2015

And since then we have heard nothing. No medical requests or document request. I had applied for the GCMS notes and got them today finally after 36 days and it says interview required.

Preeti, she is a Feb. 25 applicant.

Hey Priya,

They will not inform you that they require an interview until they have a date to give you. So it is going to be silence from NDVO until the interview letter. They will not start re-medical/security/criminality until after interview. When you receive interview letter, please take a new Medical and PCC (of New Zealand too) with you to the interview.

I suppose your husband will have to come to India for the interview.

Even I am May 20 applicant upfront medical done on 10 May 2015 and waiting for remedical request.I am assuming since my medical hasn't expired hence they haven't sent the re- medical yet.

Ok here is the story about medical,

Spouse done upfront medical on April 2015.
on 3rd May 2015 we received a call from Physician that x-ray required again for further assessment.
and on 4th May 2015, my spouse done the X-ray and physician told, everything is fine this time.
On July 7, 2015 my spouse received an email from NDVO for further assessment (x-ray) again. And we informed the physician but physician told that we don't need to go for it as we have already done this further assessment back on 4th May. So we ignored that email.
On 18 Sept 2015 we received an other email from NDVO regarding follow up of July email. Our Physician again confirmed that the results has been sent to the NDVO on May 4, 2015.
Then finally we decided to write an email to NDVO on 24 Sept 2015 to reply their Sept email that the result has been submitted on May 4th.
After that we didn't received any email from NDVO and we were able to see medical received status in ECAS.

As we had done reassessment on 4th May, we had assumed that medical should be valid until 4 May 2016.
But I guess they updated their system after our email on 24 Sept 2015 and therefore Medical is valid until 24 Sept 2016.

I hope this will help to understand our medical story.

@rambopg: Thanks for the update! So I guess it will be some months before I hear anything from CIC for the interview because as per the forum posts, they are interviewing sept 2014 candidates?

Yes, usually the observed delay is about 3 months. If you are lucky then less time than that. Usually they will only look at the new proofs after the Due date that they gave you in the letter.

Yes, it does delay the process. As rambopg also mentioned, it could delay by 2-3 months.

Just wanted to confirm if the consent form has Section A, B, C and D only... I read somewhere that there are sections E and F also
Please can anyone confirm who already applied

Also do we have to fill section B as it only needs to be filled when you need information on your spouse's file also

Wt is the meaning of due date of medical in notes...our due date in medical part is 1april 2016...what does it mean...whereas our medical expired in Jan..we never received remedical request....we r Feb 2015 applicnt

It only has 4 section. section A-D
Section A for Principal Applicant
Section B if you want sponsor details also
Section C for authorization
Section D for under 18 year age.

I would suggest fill out section A-C. So you will get all details on your file
