I Just got off the phone with MP and they said that NDVO is still working on my security portion plus the projected time is 17 months

Remember every case is different so mine got delayed bcz of PCC
Don't worry guys time is almost up to meet out loved ones

Just wondering is everyone getting delays on their GCMS notes requested in the past month? I requested notes on March 16 and still haven't received them although I know as per everyones posts on this forum that it can take 30-35 days. The last times I have requested the notes, they came in exactly on the 30th day! Kinda feel weird because we have no updates on our application (filed on Feb 25, 2015) and then the GCMS notes are late too. Does this indicate anything? Feeling kinda nervous....

even ur egilibility hasn't started yet? depends on VO who is working on ur file. wait for a week or so, if u didn't get remedical request, go for another set of notes. bcuz by now, ur eligibility must have been done.

we have the same dilemma. My notes generated on March 9, nothing had started. I am April 30 applicant. I already ordered 2nd set of notes on April 13. Which should reveal the real reason for delay. Hopefully the new set of notes arrive at end of April (some ppl are getting notes in 2 weeks).

They must have already finished our files at least for eligibility. Following could be reasons for not getting re-medicals until now.

Option 1)
May be Background/Security is pending for us.

Option 2)
Interview recommended.

currently aug-sep 2014 applicants r getting interview dates. u can make a forecast based on ur application date.

any possible red flags u can think of? order ur notes again.. den u ll come to know whats gng on. bcuz may applicants are getting update, by now ur eligibility factor must have been completed.

Oh. I was under the impression that the New Delhi office is taking about 11-14 months in general. So, looks like they are taking even 17 months to just let know if there is an interview?
That sucks.

I think PCC should be sent at the initial of the package so it states incomplete package will delay.
For my case I didn't know I needed PCC from India bcz originally I am from Afghanistan and I stayed more than 6 month in India so that flagged I needed a PCC

So as per you too when eligibility is passed only then remed is sent?
If they hav doubt in background check then that interview is different from doubt on genuineness
of relation, right?
And those who are stuck for long as 2014 applicants are caught in eligibility
Clearance n would not hav got remedical?

Step 1 is eligibility. if the officer has doubts he might ask for additional docs or take a quick telephonic interview. if he is satisfied he sends for a remed request. after that the security/background checks begin and if there is any doubt they conduct interview where i guess the sponsor is not involved in that interview.
if the eligibility is not cleared then there is an interview where both sponsor and applicant have to be present (sponsor over phone if in canada) after a successful interview they send remed.
according to the trend no one (2015) has got an interview date for eligibility. they are still conducting interviews for 2014.
