I just want to share a thought and seek others' observational experience on same.
As it is said that remedical is no gurantee for no interview, but isn't it that
those who got call for interview were those whose cases were stuck at minor
issues n doubts as few of cases which I cud recall from forum
were like some family member sponsorship withdrawn or some over stay in other country or something like that.

isn't it if genuineness of marriage is doubted, they hardly send remedical request? ?


Mike, as he has been maintaining sheet whole closely observing trends and nabaf who is also observing closely, n others who are more actively participating on forum, plz share ur opinion on same.


as to what extent remedial is assurance.

Re-medical is 99% assurance that your eligibility is cleared. After that you could get stuck in background/security checks too.

But in certain cases (very few - 1%)) it has happened that they got interview after re-medical

Step 1 is eligibility. if the officer has doubts he might ask for additional docs or take a quick telephonic interview. if he is satisfied he sends for a remed request. after that the security/background checks begin and if there is any doubt they conduct interview where i guess the sponsor is not involved in that interview.
if the eligibility is not cleared then there is an interview where both sponsor and applicant have to be present (sponsor over phone if in canada) after a successful interview they send remed.
according to the trend no one (2015) has got an interview date for eligibility. they are still conducting interviews for 2014.

Yeah I forwarded the passport photocopy. But m confused why they ask for photocopy

there is another applicant "kamal" who got the same request photocopy of passport.

UPDATE FOR MARCH 2015 applicants

I Just got off the phone with MP and they said that NDVO is still working on my security portion plus the projected time is 17 months

Remember every case is different so mine got delayed bcz of PCC
Don't worry guys time is almost up to meet out loved ones
