Because April and May have over 800 applicants it is taking them longer than usual to complete even April.

I have one doubt, like said April & May months have highest applications received. These figures represent the applications received at NDVO or CPC-M?

Thank You :) I found this open data portal to see number of applications received at NDVO last year. April & May have highest number of applications received at NDVO. but these days applicants who filed their applications in April & May at CPC-M have started to receive updates. that means their files were received at NDVO later in months of June & July.

since number of applications received at NDVO after May decreases each month. I hope faster processing for all us. I don't know if I'm comparing these numbers correctly. just an idea. Goodluck everyone !! :) :)

How do you know about the amount of applications submitted? I mean is there some kind of datasheet or something for the whole year applications? If yes please send me a link. I downloaded the datadump but the Values were empty.

http://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset

"Permanent Resident Visa Applications Received Abroad" put this in search bar and you will find this in the result list. click on it and download the spreadsheet.

very true. this may include afghan, nepal and indian apps too.. i even wondered so many times that ndvo ppl start their processing from the day it received the apps. now apr - may applications are getting processed means ndvo received at june-july.. so we need to check in june- july months i suppose according to the open data. or may be during april 2015, across all processing centres in canada, ndvo applications amounted to 800.. gotto analyse the open data more may be.. :)

and it comes as no surprise why 2014 app getting delayed.. total 2014 pr application (this may include all forms) being processed in NDVO amounts nearly to 50k applications.. and for 2015 its just 25k.. decrease by 50% applications.

I wanted to ask you a question regarding the interview.
I know that there is no ideal time and every cases are different. But in general, according to general practice, when do you get a notice email from cic that you will have to come for interview? Or even asking for additional documents, like more pictures and all.
For example, i am may 15th applicant. Ideally, how many months/ day i should get such notifications?

Thanks.

I think it varies from which kind of doc or info, i've seen ppl getting ADC in the starting months, in my case, it was after re-med
you can't predict the time frame i guess
as far as interview is concerned ppl are waiting for soo long to get a date..

Hello Rick277
As PR_Sn mentioned that particular date fr interview is difficult to predict ....interview date nowadays also depends on which red flag is concerning the officer as observed in 2015 applicants by few members of the forum...but for overall ,interview dates r last updated fr july 2014 applicants on these forums n frm august 2014 applicants r waiting to get their interview dates...

But u can surely knw abt whthr interview is recommend in ur case or not if mostly aftr around 11 n half months of ur completion of application submission date at cic,at that tym if u order ur GCMS notes then thru that u can get info abt whthr interview is recommend or not under eligibility criteria.....so accordingly one can be aware of futhr step in their processing of file ........
Nowadays mostly ADR is asked after file maturation of over 11 months according to my observation.....i mean adr other thn medical, landing fee,pcc which is usually asked fr applicants in their aor2 email or aftr that period in few cases......so basically in many cases ndvo touches file aftr it completes its 11 months n over it of stay in their office.....
I hope this helpss

Cheers :)
