According to senior members.....
Background checks like (criminality, security and RFVchecks)...... At times, Eligibility checks and Medical check r done simultaneously.......

Eligibility-
Where they check the genuineness of marriage.
Medicals –
(a) physical examination;
(b) review of past medical history;
(c) laboratory test;
(d) diagnostic test; and
(e) medical assessment of records respecting the applicant.

Security and Criminality –

Here is the link for back ground checks (Security and Criminality Check) given by cic

Time duration differs from case to case for eg, no of countries lived in (more than 6 months),any crimes committed etc and these checks are done usually in groups

RFV Checks –

In RFV Check, they mainly look out for
i. Fees Receipt (RPRF)
ii. House Address

So once we pass all these checks our file will be in Final review Queue and we’ll get a status update as decision made.

It should take another month or so after interview as applicant might be asked for reMeds and stuff... pray that u don't have to go through interviews.....

So it's total after ur application completes 18months or interview can be conducted before tat too

NDVO really loves they wont let me go that easy, for me its still in process...........
 
I don't kno Wat to say abt NDVO their odd Predicament is incorrigible,
But I guess I have to go thru interview Becz of age gap bitwin me nd my partner but it's first marriage for both of us.
That's just the one thing I'm bothered
I'm May 6th applicant when can I order notes so I can get to know when will they interview me?
 
If I'm leaving the country and going to visit Kuwait for 2 to 3 months do I have to notify NDVO abt IT
And again will they ask pcc of India and Kuwait ?
 
I'm going to visit my family for 2months do I to send any emails to them nd it's gonna be 12 months competing my application but still no update
Wat do I do ?

Thanks Nabaaf.. u done good research ...what is RVF...yu said home address.. do they come to home address for it? They complete dese checks before remedical or aftr remedical
