March 17 applicant
Med expired Jan 21
No re-med yet
Really frustrating

I am Canadian citizen, I applied for proof of citizen for my son (born in India)
Could the delay be due to our son?

NDVO process is absurd!

Remed is usually the last thing ndvo asks, so maybe they haven't finished processing other data for ur application. U will get it soon don't worry.....

Hi guys,

just an FYI & can someone update me on the spreadsheet!

spousal sponsorship. My husband got his re-medical request today from NVDO. It actually came to my lawyer who forwarded the msg to me. So I guess NVDO is working on march applicants.

Bizarre... seems like a March 30 applicant got a re-med on this forum. You are March 17 and you've been waiting ever since Jan 21 for the re-meds. Have you double checked your emails and all.

Seniors in the forum might be able to shed some light..

Q) Is it true some applications are getting skipped randomly or does it depend on the complexity of the case.
a) A simple complexity could be that a new born child's information needs to be updated
b) A more complex case could be a second marriage with an adopted child etc.,
c) Previous Visa rejections etc.,

Our son was born during the process of my wife's pr application in India. we notified ndvo or pregnancy in early stages as well as the birth of our son (sent in his birth certificate)

I called the MP, he followed up in regards to our file.
Mp mentioned there is nothing to be worried , everything looked good on the file but it might be delayed for a month or so. That's the response I got ?

Any suggestions ?

Good questions. And you think that's absurd...I'm a Feb 9 applicant, remeds expired Jan 6th. No sign of remed yet.

Hello 2015 guys,

One quick question? I am planning to get married(In india) soon and then sponser her. As the processing time is 12-17 months. how many of you have applied for Visitor visa for spouse to kill some time of this long process.

Is it really hard to get visitor visa after getting Aor(60 days). Please advise. I am really worried...

Hi, your application received date on the spreadsheet is 13th March but on the left of your post it shows 27th Feb. Can you go through the spreadsheet and please confirm your timeline for us?

Hi Bob,

That makes sense then. The delay is expected as you've had to add your son. You will get the remeds for sure. Whenever a child is being added it does delay a few things as there is additional processing (worfklow) involved.

NDVO has their own doctor who verifies things and takes necessary steps. Meds right after child birth might show some irregularities. They know it, so no wonder the re-meds for your wife got delayed. It's for your benefit.

Don't worry, you will eventually hear back soon.

Hey manveer, that sucks but please don't cry.
Interview recommended is not a sure shot confirmation that interview will happen but its a huge possibility. Now is the time for you to go through your notes patiently and see what CIC thinks are the red flags in your file. You know that some members here have got interview dates for March 2016 so if you're lucky your interview could also happen in March or April, which is not far at all. Start gathering your proofs and wait for an email from NDVO. Don't lose hope okay? You have a genuine relationship. You have nothing to worry about. Be strong
