The consent form which I downloaded from the link you provided ask for a designated signature who they can contact. Does that mean someone other than my husband and I?

Hi everyone!

Was wondering if someone could answer my question if they know. My husband is in the States on a work visa, and has been there for 11/2 year. I recently just got my SA, and it stated that the File was getting transferred to New Delhi. However when my husband got his medical done his physician sent his medical documents to Ottawa. So all along we were thinking his file will go to Ottawa VO, but it went to New Delhi. Is there any reason why this would happen?

Hi,

If your husband is indian citizen then PR process will be done by New Delhi VO. If an applicant is already in Canada then only your file will go to Ottawa for PR application as an Inland PR application.

Hey ,
Thanks for the reply. Yes my husband is Indian Citizen. My husbands friend also applied for the PR and he's of indian citizen residing in The States, (his wife is in canada), but his file went to Ottawa? So a bit confused.....
