Hello Everyone,
For me the status changed to DM on Monday but no PPR yet. This is criminal because after all the crap it took them 10 months to decide on the application and now not requesting the passport for visa AFTER the decision has been made is criminal.
Anyway my wife's address online is my address here in Canada. If I remember correctly I submitted the address of my parent's home in India at the time of submission of original application. Then my wife got a TRV and came to Canada. After 7 months she is back in India and finally we have a decision made on the application.
Now if the request for PPR comes through, how do we make sure the passport is delivered to the address she is currently residing? If I do make the change online it will takes weeks before the change is reflected in their system and by that time she might have got the visa.
Has anyone been in the same boat?
Also is there a courier delivery system which can send the passport back to us? In Canada we can use the prepaid envelope but seems like there is nothing like that in India.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and Cheers

Hey relax
You will get a PPR soon, and since your wife is here and she will be submitting her passport through VFS, so it will come on Indian address only. Also i guess she can confirm the Indian address at the VFS centre; they send the passport back through Blue dart, it can be traced on their website.....

stay calm and stay positive; no need to panic...
whats another week when you have waited for so long......:)
all the best and god bless you.........

Hi Raine,

Do you have submit the passport at VFS office after PPR? VFS website says they do no deal with any type of immigration or citizenship applications.

Additionally can the passport be delivered to VFS by courier? I want the passport be delivered back to a specific address. How is this communicated to VFS or NDVO.

Thanks

if you have a vfs near your location you can also handpick it....or give authorisation letter to a representative who can pick your passport. thats how they deal with TRV so i am sure they do the same with ppr also.

Yes, you do my friend. Just go to the nearest VFS office and submit your passport. Which city and state do you live in?

No, NDVO will return your passport through Blue Dart courier services. When you go to the VFS office to submit your passport, they will ask you where would you like your passport to be delivered via blue dart services and then you can just let them know. ;D

Dear Mr/Ms. XXX

This is in reference to your visa application for Canada.

Lol, my wife got following re-medical request today. she is here with me in Toronto on TRV.

I have following queries:
1 - Is it just the chest x-ray only/
2 - Original medical was done at Sadhu Vaswani Medical Center, New Delhi. Since my wife is here with me in Toronto, will it matter if she goes to a Panel Physician here?
3 - Any recommendation regarding a Panel Physician in Toronto GTA
4- Should I take the print of Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419 or the doctor would have it?
5 - Any more suggestions are welcome

Best wishes to every applicant.
