Lol, my wife got following re-medical request today. she is here with me in Toronto on TRV.

Dear Mr/Ms. XYZ

This is in reference to your visa application for Canada.

The results of initial medical examinations for yourself has expired. In order to provide your application with an updated validity we require following additional medical examination(s) for yourself:

Chest Xray (in DICOM / JPEG format) with report (in PDF)
Completed MEDICAL REPORT CHEST X-RAY REQUISITION AND REPORT form (Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419) (in PDF)
Duly completed Re-assessment Form (Attached herewith)

I have following queries:
1 - Is it just the chest x-ray only/
2 - Original medical was done at Sadhu Vaswani Medical Center, New Delhi. Since my wife is here with me in Toronto, will it matter if she goes to a Panel Physician here?
3 - Any recommendation regarding a Panel Physician in Toronto GTA
4- Should I take the print of Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419 or the doctor would have it?
5 - Any more suggestions are welcome

Best wishes to every applicant.

hey congrats....our timeline pretty similar.... My wife got her re-med done from a different PP and she did not insist on a full medical, just the chest x-ray..... Also, you have to take the printout of the IMM form...hope it helps.

All re - medical assessments are uploaded to a central website, don't worry your doctor would know what to do; it's a everyday thing for them..........:)

i have added you to the spreadsheet.....its hard to understand whats the holdup coz ndvo works in a very strange way. just wait for one more week or think about applying notes to know what they are doing with your file. you will get the notes after a month from the date you apply. just hang in there :)

Thank you. Hoping we hear from novo really soon.

Hi Raine89 congratulations to you!!

i would like to know,

1.did u send the re-medical through email or mail(courier/post)? If so what is the email id?
2. PPR request through normal courier/post or anyother medium? If so the courier name?

Thanks.

Hi Puvaneswari. Thank you.

1. Our panel physician send the medical results directly to NDVO by email. This is the email address DELHI.MCREASSESSMENT@international.gc.ca.

2. For the PPR, you must submit your passport to the nearest VFS global office and then will forward it to NDVO for the visa. Once the visa has been stamped, NDVO will courier the passport back to you through Blue Dart ("courier company"). Blue Dart will either call you or you can track your courier using a number provided by VFS global when you go there to submit your passport.

Hope this help!!

Hello Everyone,
For me the status changed to DM on Monday but no PPR yet. This is criminal because after all the crap it took them 10 months to decide on the application and now not requesting the passport for visa AFTER the decision has been made is criminal.
Anyway my wife's address online is my address here in Canada. If I remember correctly I submitted the address of my parent's home in India at the time of submission of original application. Then my wife got a TRV and came to Canada. After 7 months she is back in India and finally we have a decision made on the application.
Now if the request for PPR comes through, how do we make sure the passport is delivered to the address she is currently residing? If I do make the change online it will takes weeks before the change is reflected in their system and by that time she might have got the visa.
Has anyone been in the same boat?
Also is there a courier delivery system which can send the passport back to us? In Canada we can use the prepaid envelope but seems like there is nothing like that in India.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and Cheers

Hey,

If I understand this correctly, they current address is your Canadian address on file but she is in India correct? In that case she will submit the passport at VFS in the city she is in which is the only way to submit the passport. If she submits it at VFS then it wont go back to the mailing address which is yours and will be returned to the local address which I believe she would have the option to select since she is submitting it there.

Hi Raine,

Do you have submit the passport at VFS office after PPR? VFS website says they do no deal with any type of immigration or citizenship applications.

Additionally can the passport be delivered to VFS by courier? I want the passport be delivered back to a specific address. How is this communicated to VFS or NDVO.

Thanks

So VFS is the only option, which is fine since they can be told to forward it to the address she is currently residing.
